Syllabus for Common Core Math I
Course Description: Math I is an integrated math course covering concepts that all students should study in order to be college and career ready. These concepts were developed in conceptual categories that cross a number of course boundaries. These conceptual categories include: Number and quantity, algebra, functions and modeling, statistics and probability.
Rules:
1) Always try YOUR best
2) Be respectful/ agree to disagree
3) Stay on task/ EVERYONE needs to participate
4) No food allowed in the classroom
5) No phones are allowed to be used unless teacher directed
Expectations:
1) Students will keep a folder with all interims, tests, quizzes and other pertinent work. The folder MUST remain in the classroom at all times.
2) Everyday students will be expected to be on task as soon as they enter the classroom. There will be a warm-up assignment on the board to complete
3) Quizzes will be unannounced. However, students will be given advanced notice on tests.
